Psychomat

Psychomat is my home away from home. Who am I? That’s covered in the next section. Read on, my good person, Read On! Anyhow, this site is the aggregation of several other, disparate sites to which I had been posting for several years. This isn’t, of course, the full breadth and depth of my textual outpourings but it is the important stuff. Some old items, my move to Vegas, my return to the right coast, meeting my GF, getting a new job, etc. Plus all the glorious anger in the middle. Yeah, I’m kinda angry sometimes. *giggle sweetly* Anyway, Psychomat is where I cathartically exercise my demons in textual discourse. You’ll find news bits, politics, some pornography, lots of ranting and raving, plenty of movie reviews and news and a healthy dose of technological spouting-off-at-the-mouth. Ohhh, also you’ll find my movies. Home made music videos set to some of my favorite films. They’re fun, quick and easy to watch! Yay!

I think I’m an asshole but my GF thinks I’m cute. The disparity between the two is absolutely killing me. Writing online is a catharsis so I’m not asking you to like it. Read if you wish and comment if you will but do not judge me. I do what I do for my own good - not yours or anyone elses. If you don’t like it, you know where the door is.

I’ll fully admit that I’ve taken steps that fall somewhat short of paranoia and yet somewhere over the line of ‘normal’ in terms of protecting my privacy here. The name of the company I work for has been redacted out of all posts. My girlfriends name has also been removed. I don’t (think) I refer to any of my friends by their given name or use their last names anywhere. I obviously do not publish my address or phone number. My email address belongs to a domain I don’t own and while I suppose you could track me via that, the person who does in fact own it is unlikely to give me up to just anyone. You must understand, this wasn’t done in an effort to remove myself from any potential readers - I’m not better than anyone here - it was done to cast a mildly transparent shield of anonymity to protect myself in the event of my pissing someone off.

I’ve been writing online for about 3 years now. From forums to blogs to community portals I’ve been around. I get my news, daily, from five different sources located on three different continents and I try to distill anything useful, interesting, scary or funny into my own banter; be it angry or simple conversational. I’m likely to post about once or twice a week, on average. I use inordinate amounts of profanity so if thats something that bothers you, well, you should really make every effort to avoid my writings. At some distant point I’ll be posting a catalog of my own political predilictions for your pleasure, but until then you can safely assume that I don’t like George Bush, his VP or the majority of his chosen cabinet.
